Shame on Chuckie

Let's play a game. You know that word association thing where someone says a word and you blurt out the first thing that comes to your mind? Okay, here goes.

4th of July............................(are you thinking fireworks?)
Desert....................................(did you think of sand and a cactus?)
Chuck E. Cheese.................................

Admit it, you thought of a ball pit didn't you? Little kids frolicing amongst brightly colored plastic balls, right? Me too! We had a play date at Chuck E. Cheese today for lunch. All morning I had been prepping Easton about the ball pit. He was so excited about "swimming" in the balls. We even had the conversation about how it was okay for him to keep his clothes on, because when you swim in the water you take your clothes off, but when you swim in the balls, you can keep your clothes on. (A two year old is very concerned about such matters) We walk into Chuck E. Cheese ready for our play date and there is NO ball pit! Blasphemy! What's wrong with these people? I was ready for a melt down, but he honestly did very well. I guess a ball pit is not such a big thing when everything around you is blinking and spinning and playing some silly tune.

I didn't bring my camera (bad mom) but Ms. Candy caught some with her phone.
I'll figure out how to post pictures and plug them in here later.
