With apologies to my Father

This picture came with the following message:

Jenny,
Don't you dare put this on the blog. It could scar him for life.

Sorry, Dad. It had to be done.

Let me set the stage for you.....
Easton loves "older" women. Hannah, Amanda, Katie, all of them. He would rather play with one of them than play with Spencer. And that's saying something right there. We were at Nana and Papa's house the last few days of Spring Break. We had spent Saturday with Hannah, Kendall and Aunt Kerri. Hannah was supposed to go and see one of her other cousins participate in a HS "beauty pageant" that evening. Due to extraneous circumstances, Hannah was unable to go and was dissapointed. We decided that the kids should put on their own beauty pageant for the adults. They could dress up in some of Hannah's old clothes in the closet upstairs and sing us a song for the talent competion. I had pictured Easton coming down the stairs in an oversized t-shirt and playing his guitar or something similar. Instead we got Eastonlia. Somehow - Hannah had single handedly stripped the boy out of his clothes, found a dress in the closet that fit, got him to stand still long enough to button all of the buttons in the back and convinced him to go downstairs and show off his new look. It is a moment I may never forget. To his credit, his first sentence to me was, "Mommy, I no like this clothes. Want my clothes."
We got him back upstairs and into his shirt and pants. His next outfit was a Veggie Tale blanket (with Larry the cucumber) that Papa tied around his neck like a cape to become "Super Pickle".

Any damage done by the dress was most assuredly corrected by the superhero cape.

After all these years it is good to know that reverse psychology still works :)

I am so glad he found that cape. At least he is wearing his manly socks and not some fancy pumps. It could be worse.
