Little Grumpy

Everything that I have read or anyone that I have talked to say that a 6 month old infant should only be taking 2 naps per day.

Camille needs 3.

I have been trying to transition to a 2 nap day. The last few days she has had a short morning nap, a good afternoon nap and would get so tired that she would pass out for a 30 min cat nap in the evening. Today she had great naps in the morning and afternoon. I was determined to make today "the day". She started getting grumpy around 4:30. We pressed on. She started sucking the thumb around 5:00. We pressed on. She started screaming durning dinner. We didn't back down. She kept screaming through dinner and after dinner. I held, I bounced, I cooed. She was MAD. I gave up.

She's in bed and we are all much happier.
