Our Sunday Morning Secret
Sunday mornings are hectic to say the least. After much trial and error, we have developed a routine that gets us out the door on time. It goes something like this:
1. Camille serves as an alarm clock by chirping and squealing until someone comes to retrieve her.
2. Spencer gets in shower while Jenny feeds Camille her morning bottle
3. Spencer gets out of shower and starts the coffee
4. Jenny wipes spit-up off Camille, herself and the floor
5. Easton awakes (somehow he manages to sleep through the Camille alarm)
6. Spencer, Jenny, Easton and Camille all converge to the kitchen to eat breakfast
7. Jenny eats quickly while supplying Camille with a steady stream of Cheerios
8. Spencer and Easton take a more leisurely approach to breakfast that is usually interrrupted by crying, whining and a few trips to time-out
9. Jenny gets in shower while Camille hangs out in the bouncy seat in the bathroom
10. Jenny completes shower as the boys complete breakfast
11. Jenny gets ready as Camille becomes frustrated that she is still in the bouncy seat. Jenny begins to dance around as she puts on make up and be as entertaining as possible to the 8 month old
12. Spencer gets Easton dressed
13. Easton is plopped in front of the TV to watch Sesame Street/Elmo
14. Spencer gets ready
15. Jenny gets Camille dressed
16. Camille joins Easton (see below - even Camille is mesmerized by the red furry guy)
17. Jenny packs the diaper bag
18. Spencer packs the truck (trumpet, clarinet, bibles, diaper bag, car seats)
Most mornings, we leave on time. Thank you, PBS

THANK THE LORD we are not the only ones that had to come up with a VERY detailed plan to get out of the house as a family! WHEW. And to think that people who are single are late to ANYTHING is disturbing...:-)
YEA BARHAM FAMILY!
Forgot to ask--what's the start time and finish time of this routine?
Camille usually starts chirping around 6:45 and we are out the door by 8:45 (to be at church at 9). Fast, we're not.
