Manhattan Meatballs

My sister gave me this recipe a long time ago. It is extremely good and extremely easy.

1 lb. ground beef
HOT Barbeque sauce
Apricot jam or preserves

Add a little salt and pepper to the hamburger meat and roll into little balls. Kerri suggests browning the balls in a skillet and then transferring to oven. I have done this but also just put the balls into the oven raw. I believe this will only work if you are using extra-lean ground beef as it has hardly any fat and produces very little grease. For a fuller fat beef, you'll want to use the skillet option. Combine barbeque sauce and jam until desired flavor emerges. Cover meatballs with sauce in a glass dish and place in oven until meat is cooked completely.
