You know how a simple 10 minute power nap can make you feel so good? It's not the same as a full night of sleep, but can be just enough to get you through. That's what Friday and Saturday were for us. We'll call it a power vacation. Friday morning we spent a wonderful morning at the park with friends. That night Nana and Papa took over and Spencer and I went to eat dinner with yet more friends we haven't seen in a while. (Over 18 months to be exact). Saturday morning we slept in as late as we wanted. Anyone want to guess what time we got up? Anyone? 6:00. Yep, that's a.m. Granted, that was 6am local time. According to our eastern body clocks it was 7:00. So, so, sad. But we got to drink an entire cup of coffee with no interruptions. That was nice. We continued the day by meeting yet another one of our couple friends for lunch. And then we were back at Nana and Papa's to have dinner with my sister and her family.
The next morning was "time change" Sunday. Let it be known to one and all that the Barham family was not only 5 min EARLY to orchestra rehearsal while losing an hour, but we had extra time to stop and get bagels for our SS class before arriving to church. That little power-vacation was pretty good.
