Oaks 2007

So Close!! Last year we "ate breakfast" with Al Roker. (He was at the same restaurant as us, he passed our table) This year Bobby Flay is in town for the Oaks/Derby. He has a show on Food Network called Throwdown with Bobby Flay. He challenges local chefs to a "throwdown" against him with their famous dishes. Recently he challenged Lynn's Paradise Cafe to a Breakfast Throwdown. Lynn's won. On the news this morning he was interviewed and mentioned that he would be eating breakfast at Lynn's (no hard feelings even though she beat him!) When we got to the restaurant, he had just left. Oh well. We almost "ate breakfast" with Bobby. We did, however, order two of the throwdown meals. Very, very, yummy.
