Week in Review
Sorry I haven't had time to catch up the past week. Here are the highlights:
Our house
We met with a realtor yesterday and we'll call her Polly Positive. Polly seems to think that we have a good property because it's in a good location, in a good price bracket, and it's a ranch. And she thinks that combo will sell quickly even though nothing else seems to be selling right now. I think we may just put it up to see what happens. The good news is we're not desperate so if it sells - fantastic, and if not - we're happy to stay.
The kids
At 22 months Camille has figured out how to tell on her brother and mock him.
The other day I was in the kitchen and the kids were in the hall. I hear Camille crying. Easton walks into the kitchen looking guilty.
Mom - What happened?
Easton - Nothing
Camille - walks in kitchen crying
Mom - What's wrong Camille?
Camille - BUBBA
Easton - I didn't do anything!
Mom - Did Bubba hurt you Camille?
Camille - Uh-huh
Mom - What happened?
Camille - Bubba (points to Easton and then her arm)
Mom - Did Easton hurt your arm?
Camille - Uh-huh!
Easton - Realizes he is caught and starts throwing out excuses as to why it was okay for him to hit her arm.
We were outside this week and Easton was riding his bike and Camille is pushing the lawnmower. Easton had taken off his helmet and put it on the ground beside the bike. In typical man fashion he went to pick up the helmet and instead of walking around the bike to get it, he leans over the bike to reach it. While leaning over the bike the handlebars swing around and trap him across the bike. Easton realizes that he can't stand up and begins to panic. "MOMMMMMMYY! I'M STUUUUUUUUUUCK! HELP!" I rescue the boy and all is well. About 4 seconds later Camille walks over to the lawnmower and leans over the top. And she begins to yell, "uuuuuck! ma-ma! uuuuck!" I tell her, no she's okay, she's not stuck. And then she looks at me and laughs (because she knows she's funny) and continues to lean over the lawnmower yelling again, "uuuuuck! ma-ma!" It was hilarious. And Easton couldn't figure out why I was laughing.
Dinner Diaries
Nothing fun to report here. But I did find something fun at the grocery store. Typically I don't like canned soups. They all taste stale to me. I'd rather take the time to make something on the stove. However, I was in the grocery store and saw that these Progresso soups were on sale. In a moment of insanity I picked one up. You know, I ate it today for lunch and it was not bad. It would be better from scratch, but I could handle eating another from the can. It was the Progresso Light Southwestern Style Vegetable. About 120 calories for the whole can for those of you counting such things.

Too bad you didn't catch the "Camille moment" on video. It would have been one for the archives.
Good luck on selling the house. Ask your realtor what the average "Days on Market" is in your area.
Remember, this is a buyers market. Most buyers are looking for deals and deep discounts. Be careful.
