And my hobbies include....
Sewing.
I think I can officially say that now! I have three (don't laugh) whole patterns that I can read and understand. Two of them are really "tutorials" written by a regular person - but I did manage to make a fabric bear for Easton from a Simplicity pattern. At one point there was some crying involved because I was putting on a piece upside down and couldn't understand why my dots and notches wouldn't match up. (Please take a moment to be proud that I know what dots and notches are) And sewing the round parts around the bottom of the feet and neck aren't picture perfect - but they're okay. And when I try this again for some other unsuspecting child, I'll know how to do it better.
This excites me mostly because Girl Band Craft Night is tomorrow and I actually have things to work on! Things that I know I can make. Woo Hoo! Okay who wants an apron? Bear? Tote?

yay you! you're even the one that got me hooked on aprons and totes, so there. they were good enough to make me want to make some.
i might actually be hooking tomorrow night, because i forgot that i promised my sister-in-law an afghan. don't let me forget to bring it in my state of not having a brain these days.
