So here's what I have for the craft fair this weekend. 16 aprons. It doesn't look like much in pictures but it's been in the making since January! I've printed out recipes that 'coordinate' with each apron and will stick them in the pocket. A friend had also given me the idea of tying it to a wooden spoon to go with each one but I never got that far - the pocket will have to do.
How much do I charge? I have a number in mind, but I'm curious what the general blog public thinks. My number is loosely based on fabric cost and time, etc. If you were walking around at a craft fair (not a fancy one, just grandma in small town Indiana type fair) and you saw these - what price would tempt you to buy one?
Also a question about layout. I'm going to hang them with closepins from a line. (you know, nostalgic apron drying in the afternoon sun, blah, blah) Should I hang the matching ones together to tempt someone to buy a set (mother/daughter perhaps?) or just scatter them about as individuals?

Yay! Pictures of all your hard work!
I LOVE THEM!
Here's my .02 cents worth:
1. Hang them together
2. I would probably pay $15-$20, easily per apron. Maybe you could give a little discount if someone buys two....e.g. One for $15 or two for $25.
3. Love the recipe idea! You could have gotten your scrapbook buddies to create unique cards and uniquely tie them on the wooden spoons to add a nice touch :-) Smack me at any moment :-)
Good luck tomorrow! Can't wait to hear how it goes!
TAKE PICTURES!!! (that means you have to take your camera.)
By the way, what's your company name???
I LOVE YOU Shannon!! - What a great card/scrap book idea...and of course you know I would have been delighted! I like her pricing/placement ideas. I will have to stop by tomorrow! Hope today went well. It was so pretty outside I hope you had a good turnout!jlh
