#1 and #4
#1. Claire had a great 4 month check up. At her two month check up she was 50/50 on her weight and height. At 4 months she had dropped to 25% in her weight and grown to 90% in height. Long and skinny. Nothing to squeeze. Nothing to pinch. She is still wearing 0-3 month clothes and they bag around her waist. I guess when the weather gets cold she'll have to deal with pants that are too short because I can't imagine putting her in the next size.
#4. And what every parent longs to say....."I think Claire is officially sleeping through the night!" If not fully there, we are very close. After we saw Dr. Thompson at the 4 mo check up he confirmed what we already knew in our hearts - the babe was playing us. That whole routine of waking up multiple times a night was not really necessary. We would hear her fuss and immediately go get her because we didn't want her waking up Camille who was only 2 feet away. So Claire got her own 'bedroom'. We put her in the pack-n-play at the bottom of the stairs and it has worked wonderfully! She can fuss for a bit and get herself back to sleep and not bother anyone. Or if she really gets worked up into a cry, we can still hear her without a problem. And now Spencer is the first responder in the family. 99% of the time, he will cuddle with her and she'll go right back to sleep. If I'm anywhere around then she holds out until she gets fed. So I stay in bed, she stays downstairs and we're all getting more sleep. Hooray!
#10. Wait, there's time for one more. Easton has been asking for months to take the training wheels off his bike. We kept saying, "we'll do it this summer". And then this summer slipped by without even realizing it. A few days ago he asked again. Spencer just went for it and took the wheels off. Two times around the driveway with Spencer holding the seat and he had it. 10 minutes after that he was riding around completely unassisted including starts and stops. If only learning to tie his shoes went so quickly...

Are we sure Spencer took the correct wheels off?...MO
Go EASTON with no training wheels!!! I find that incredibly impressive!
Also, does Easton wear tennis shoes with laces? I'm still hooked on the tennis shoes that you can just slide in to.
I thought all 5 year-olds rode unicycles?... Spencer
now you just have to teach him to juggle :)
