sisters
I have great friends. Let that be known up front. I have friends who will laugh with me, cry with me and love my children like their own. But there is something special about being around my sisters. We are so different yet exactly alike at the same time. There is an easiness of understanding that happens between us. I know it sounds strange. Yet I never feel I have to explain myself. And when one of them gives my 5 month old grown up food from the dessert bowl - I honestly can't find it in me to get upset. And when one of them describes a situation that she is facing at home - I get it. Really, really get it. Because the emotions that she describes are EXACTLY the emotions that I would have in that situation. And piddling around in the kitchen Saturday evening as we got food ready for Sunday's Homecoming - and running kids through the bath Saturday night - - makes me sad that we live hours apart instead of only minutes. Makes me look forward to Christmas all the more.
A few pictures from Sunday, thanks to Papa.
Big Granny, Nana, Jenny, Kerri, Lori, Hannah, Kendall, Camille and Claire (not necessarily in that order)

LOVE THE PICS! Way to go papa!
There is a ton special about being home. We spent 12 days in TN during our hurricane evacuation. It makes us want to move home and all at the same time talk my family into moving to TX.
Glad you have pics. Everyone looks well and healthy. Very special.
Yeah! Christmas is only 2 months away.
