The Easter baskets have arrived

I don't know if "basket" is an accurate term here, but "fabric Easter contraption that might hold eggs" doesn't sound as cool. As always, finding girl fabric was so easy. I love girl fabric - I love it all. Boy fabric is a little harder. I tried to make Easton's basket as manly as possible but it was tough. Thankfully he's still young enough that he doesn't care.

Easton's manly non ruffled striped Easter contraption

Camille's basket
Claire's basket
All three
I appliqued the Easter eggs on the front. I said that I would stitch their names on the egg, but I never made it that far. I still have a few weeks....

The bottoms are squared off and the green is a thick canvas like material so that helps too.

You are definately your Mother's child. She has these baglike things all over the house. Just think, after Easter you can use them as reusable shopping bags. You will be the envy of everyone at Wal-Mart.

Just kidding of course, very cute,
