The Biggest Christmas Post Ever
Let's start with Camille's Christmas program at Rainbow School. This is Camille and her bff Sophie sitting on Santa's lap. And SMILING. Yep, this middle child is definitely not like her brother. When Easton was at Rainbow School the teachers had to specifically devise an escape route for Easton so he could leave the room before Santa arrived. I'm not kidding. And how did they know Easton would have such a crazy reaction? Well, they'd seen him in action at the puppet shows.
And then we traveled to Nashville to have Christmas with Nana, Papa and my side of the family. Guess who left her camera in Louisville? Sorry. Bad Sister. Thankfully Papa had his camera and shared some of his super fancy pics. This is a picture of me, Claire, neice Talia and neice Kendall.
And here is a shot of everyone opening gifts. Please notice the fancy new hardwood floors at Nana's house.
And from another angle...
And then we traveled home for Christmas Eve. Had dinner, popcorn and movie with the kids and put them to bed.
Remember when I got the bright idea to make us all matching pj pants? Well here they are. I have to admit that the end result was a little more than I had bargained for. You can't see it in the pic, but WOW are these pants loud. As much as I have come to love sewing, I'm a little afraid of turning into that scary woman from Hancock's who makes all of her own clothing. And it's OBVIOUS that she makes all of her own clothing. Kitty cat print skirt and all. I almost crossed that line. I think I'll let Children's Place take over in the pj department next year.
Camille and Claire checking out their new kitchen/ironing set from Santa
Easton's new homework desk and chair
Playing...
Peek-a-boo!
Easton got a "running shirt" like Dad. They've been out running together twice already. Yesterday Easton went a whole mile - I was impressed!
Looking in their stockings...
Claire showing you her ring that she got in her stocking.
And her necklace.
And her ring and necklace combo with Hello Kitty dry erase board. Why so many pics? Because every time we held up the camera she would "uhhhh! uhhhh!" until we took a picture of her too.
Camille's new Leapster
Claire's new Leapfrog Sing-a-long microphone (notice she put her ring on my finger)
Happy Barham Family
After presents and breakfast, we got dressed and ready to go to see Mimi and Poppy and Spencer's side of the family. Love the new hat and gloves from Big Granny.
And sparkle shoes from Nana
We drove to Cincy (I remembered the camera this time) and got to see Uncle Joel and Aunt Shawn. What is my husband eating...I have no ideaSo there you have Christmas 2009. I am blessed. We are blessed.

Jenny - I will see you very shortly and say this again in person but it must be documented . . .I know I don't see your children NEARLY as often as I would like, and you know I ADORE the Barhams DEARLY!!!! But first - Easton looks like he is a teenager sitting at that desk!! He's huge! And Camille?? Cheeks?? Why is she so big? What happened?! (and one last thing - don't you dare quit making your own Christmas pants!! I heart heart heart them!!!)
Jenny, your quilts are beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
