Happy Birthday Camille

Today we celebrated Camille's 4th birthday. I tend to worry about Camille being the "middle child" and feeling left out. As I watched her today with all of her wonderful girlfriends I realize that I need not worry about her. Already, after 4 short years she has made the sweetest little friends I could imagine.
We had her party at a place called Beadlings here in Louisville. For serious (or not so serious) jewelry makers, it is a place to buy supplies and make beautiful things. For little girls, it is also a wonderful place to have a birthday party. We had a bracelet party in which each girl got to pick from an array of beads and create their own piece of jewelry. The lady that owns the shop warned me that while adults could take hours to put together a bracelet, 4 year olds could blow through that activity in mere seconds. She suggested that I have some other activities planned to fill the time.

So we colored:

Made princess crowns:
And wands:

I present all of Camille's beautiful Princess friends:

And the most beautiful princess of all:

I know, I know...where's Camille? She wasn't interested in having her picture taken. Every time we tried, we got this face:

(I will not look at you - I will not smile for the camera - you can't make me - it's my birthday)
And of course there was cake:
