Telling Stories...

Claire came home from school today and was telling me what she learned about Joseph and his coat of many colors. I loved it so much I asked if she would tell it again for the camera. I didn't get a word for word translation, but she basically says that he got a coat but his brothers didn't get a rainbow coat and his brothers took his jacket off and stuffed him in a hole and covered him up and his dad was so sad that he cried. I tried to get her to tell the happy part of the story where Joseph got to live with the king but she just said that he went to his bed :-)

Claire loves seeing herself on camera. So after seeing her Joseph story, she asked if she could tell me another story. Well of course! So this is what she wanted to tell me. I think it's her rendition of Brown Bear, Brown Bear. But I love how she pauses in the middle and makes that clicking sound with her mouth while she's thinking. This is something she will outgrow soon and I will miss.

Sounds pretty good. She may be the next generation Precher/clergy in the Rader/Barham family. Unless, of course, you tell her that women are not allowed to preach. :)

I think she ran out of colors or this story would have kept going! I LOVE IT!!!

So precious, Jen. :-)

I especially love the hand/arm gestures.
