The wisdom of a 2 year old
Easton is at the age where he is very interested in, shall we say, things that happen in the diaper. I am scolded if I happen to change Camille without letting him "see" what was in there. This happened earlier and he started to melt down because I had put the diaper in the pail already. I tried to smooth things over by reminiscing about other diaper changes. I said, "It's okay, this diaper looked like the one from this morning." He asks if there was poo-poo. "Yes" I answer. "It was yellow just like it always is." And then thoughtfully, he looks at me and says, "Yellow means go slow Mommy".
How do you argue with that?
