The end is near!!

Finally, our yard is starting to come back together. Last week we met with a landscaping company and they drew up our plans. (Way too big to fit in the scanner or I would post it) Yesterday the cement crew came to begin framing our driveway and today the "mix truck" made it's appearance. They will have to do the driveway in 3 stages. Stage one was completed today (the flat area below the deck). While the cement crew was doing their thing, the fence men were here digging posts for our fence. They will be back to set the rails on Monday. The cement guys told me they would be done by Tuesday. Woo Hoo!

Easton loves to watch the workers, but I have to admit that I kind of like it too. The cement guys were especially fun. I am amazed at how they got a big glob of muck turned into such a flat surface just by smoothing, smoothing and more smoothing. (I'm sure there's a sermon in there somewhere, Dad.)

The picture in the middle shows the contrast between fresh cement and the smoothed version. It was their last corner that they completed before leaving this afternoon.
