Poor flowers

You thought I was kidding about the flowers, right? Look at these spots! Why do my pretty pink petals have ugly spots? I have been careful to keep them watered, but not over watered. The lady at the flower shop even showed me how moist the soil should feel. I must be cursed. Are they dying? Gardening experts, help me here.
