My poster project
I've been meaning to do this for quite some time now. Well, since last September when they were taken. We were lucky enough to get a copy of all the "reject" shots that didn't make the cover and I threw in some famous quotes for good measure. These will be hanging in my bandroom when school starts next week.
Back story - For those of you that don't live in Louisville or subscribe to the Louisville Magazine, Easton was their cover model for the September 2005 issue. Candy was art director for the magazine at the time and hooked us up. Actually, she took all of these shots, but the shot chosen for the cover happened to be one of only two that was taken by their regular photographer.

heck yes i took these. i wasn't about to let that precious little boy out of the office in a tux with only 2 pictures taken! i'm still kicking myself for not bringing my own camera to get the "getting ready" shots. these posters are awesome. if i had an office, i'd ask for one to hang in it.
This is the first time I have seen the rejects.
I would have voted for reject #1.
If he doesn't make it as a musician he will always have modeling to fall back on.

These are ADORABLE!! I had no idea! I think you should get a batch of these made and sell them to band directors :-)
The first pose is great. I think it was labeled "reject" because the trumpet was turned around backwards. If he's going to be a child supermodel, I'll have to hone my stage mom skills so I can notice things like that.
I don't know if any band directors would buy them (except maybe ones that know Easton) but Spencer has talked about sending a few shots to Yamaha (the maker of his trumpet) and seeing if they'd use him for advertising. Unfortunately I think crossing all of the red tape to get to that point would not be worth the hassle.
Ahhh, come on---you know it would be worth it to see Mr. Easton in a Yamaha ad, no matter how much red tape had to be gone through! :-)
