Election Day

I voted today. I have only voted four times in my life. The first time is when I was 18 during the presedential election, just because I thought I should. I realized that I knew nothing about politics and took a break from the polls for several years. I voted in the 2000 presidential election and was only slightly more informed than the first time. Somehow, turning 30 has had a profound effect on my political life. During the 2004 election I found myself watching debates on TV and listening to talk radio. And today I'm voting in the district races? Oh Dear. The worst grade I made in college was when I took Political Science. It was an elective. I thought it would be fun. Wrong. But today I feel informed. Empowered. Go ahead. Pick a topic. I'll debate ya.
