High School Cribs

Our local news station is doing a feature on area high schools. This morning the piece on Doss was aired. The video clip catches two of my students. The basketball player, Jaxon, is in my piano class. Brandon (the one interviewed after Jaxon wearing the gold jersey and glasses) is one of my ECE students. He may be the most enthusiastic percussionist I've ever had. His aide, Ms. Workman, comes with him every day and helps him read the music. Usually he will play the triangle or the sleigh bells or other small part. Some days he may only play a few measures but he is more excited about those measures than any of my other students are about prom night. If you get a chance, you should really meet Brandon.
