The road to craftiness
I am not crafty. There, I said it. But I want to be crafty. I want to be like my friend Jennifer who creates her own Thank-you cards for every occasion, or my friend Candy who can whip up a crocheted sweater while watching TV, or my mother who can turn a piece of fabric and a few silk flowers into the most elegant table setting. And don't get me started on the girl band girls - they knit. One of them even spins her own wool. Yep. Spins her own wool. Who are these people I hang out with?
But today, I took my first step. Sarah, my crafty party friend, would be proud. I bought party supplies. I have an actual theme for Camille's birthday. It will be a winter wonderland. I bought a white table cloth for our table (okay a white bedsheet, don't tell) and white plates, utensils and bowls. I got cups with little snowmen on them. I bought party favors - Little white gloves that will be tied at the top with a shimmery blue ribbon holding a prize inside. I'm going to serve all white food. I will have a white punch bowl with blue sparkle punch. Easton and I will be cutting out paper snowflakes all this week. Someone please stop me before I say the words "scrapbook" or "stamp".

WAHOOOOOO! It only took, what, 3 years, but we did it!!!!
I have another crafty project for you with Granddaddys tie that Granny gave me.
jlh - Don't get excited yet. So far I've only bought the items - it will take a lot more to make them useful and cute for Saturday.
kerri - That's the kind of crafty that I like. It involves sewing straight lines, I can handle that.
