Marketing Genius

Sometime between Halloween and Thanksgiving we started seeing commercials for Dora toys at Toys-R-Us. In particular there is a Dora playset that is advertised. At the end of the commercial the announcer says something like, "Blah, blah, Dora playset, come get it only at Toys-R-Us. "

Weeks go by. One day we are playing in the living room and the commercial comes on. Easton sees the Dora playset and tells me immediately, "Mommy, let's go get that. It's only at Toys-R-Us!".

Yesterday we are at Wal-Mart. There is a mini-McDonald's at the entrance to this Wal-Mart. As we are shopping someone gives an announcement to, "Stop by McDonald's and get some hot, crispy french fries or some blah, blah". Easton pops up from the back of the shopping cart and says (quite loudly I might add), "MOMMY! Did you hear that??? That girl said that we have to go to Old McDonald's and they will give us FRENCH FRIES!"
