Construction Day 1

I would have thought the worker men forgot to show up today except that there is nothing left in our master bath. When I came home with the kids for lunch I expected to hear banging and sawing and overall demolition noises. Instead the house was quiet. No worker truck. No worker men. They were able to strip the entire area and clean up before noon. I think they are spending the remainder of the day at Home Depot getting supplies and preparing. They warned us that we would not see a lot of "progress" tomorrow. They will tear up the floors and do all of their prep work. I have to say that I am nervous about the timeline. Only 6 days left. They will be here tomorrow and come back 20, 21, 23, 26, & 27.

As far as the hall bath is concerned, I think red has been the most popular color. I've found a nice reddish brown that looks like the filling of a chocolate cherry. I think it might work. We looked last night for another shower curtain and had no luck. It's not as easy as it seems. There are some ugly curtains out there.
