Construction Day 4

Today we have a shower! Not really, but I can stand in it and pretend what it will look like with tile.

As you will see, I did not get home in time to have the insulation discussion. By lunch time the back wall was already boarded up. It turns out that they did not put insulation back there. They said it is an interior wall and was not priorly insulated. Oh well. I could have demanded that they tear up everything they just completed and put some in there, or deal with it. If you know me at all, then you'll know that I just dealt with it. I can get aggressive with some teenagers, but other adults....well, not so much. Heck, for the last 4 years we've had a doorway from our kitchen to bathroom. That room was like a revolving door some days. I guess this is not a huge deal.

Our timeline has officially been extended. The guys have a conference to attend March 1st. Originally everyone was hoping to be done before they had to leave town, but that's not looking like it can happen. So they have three more work days then they will go to the conference and resume construction the week of March 12.
