Construction Day 3
Today the framing and plumbing was completed for the shower. We have also realized hiccup #2. Our floor has a rather extreme slope. We knew there was a slope, but now know that it's severe. It seems that sloping floors and tile do not work well together. The worker men think that the problem can be solved (about an inch worth of solving needs to be done), but will know more tomorrow. Here are today's pictures: Our new shower area and now you can begin to visualize the pantry/linen closet area that will be to the left.

Make sure they insulate the wall behind the shower. If they don't, people in the kitchen will be able to hear everything going on in the shower.

We hadn't discussed that. I'll ask them about it tomorrow. Goodness knows, no one needs to hear me singing...
Fun fun, got to love renovations. I'm escited for you. I am enjoying the before and after photos. Tee hee...I'm sure your singing can't be that bad lol
