Fancy Burgers
These turned out great. Maybe one of my favorites so far. From Rachel Ray.
Mix ground turkey with chives, chunks of sharp white cheddar cheese, and some grill seasoning. (or any all-purpose seasoning mix). Form into patties and cook in skillet.
For the buns, coat one side with dijon mustard and the other with canned whole-cranberry sauce. Throw some leafy lettuce in there and POOF! you have a very fancy burger.
Spencer is a die-hard mayonnaise lover. He will coat any burger, chicken or deli sandwich with mayo and cheese and be happy as a lark. I hid the mayo and put the cranberry/dijon mixture on there before he could protest. Even he gave it the thumbs up.

GROUND TURKEY?!#*
I am so disappointed.
Yeah it took me a while to warm up to ground turkey, but I've used it several times for different things and it works. You just have to adjust to the fact that it is NOT the same as a hamburger. It can be pretty tasty but it's certainly not a replacement. However, If you ever hear of me using tofu then I give you permission to take away my pots and pans and lock me up in a kitchen with Big Granny until I come to my senses.
I bought my ground turkey today. I'm just going to have to keep the hubby out of the kitchen until dinner is complete because he won't eat it if he knows what it's made out of :-) I'll keep you posted!!
