My husband is soooooo funny
Like most households, we have several levels of sanity around here.
Level 0 = Kids are asleep and all is well
Level 1 = Kids are awake but playing nicely
Level 2 = One child is throwing a fit, but other child is okay and parents are still level-headed
Level 3 = Both children are melting and parents have begun to loose it
Level 4 = All children and adults are red-faced and spent
Somewhere between levels 3 and 3.5, Spencer has started his own form of humour. Just about the time when the kids are at full tilt and steam is forming in my head he will look at me and make the sound "waaaah, waaaaaah, waaaaah" as if to imitate our lives next April when we have all of this going PLUS a crying baby. Usually this is the point where I will throw something at him. But also I laugh - so it keeps me from killing one of our current children. He has done this so frequently that Easton has caught on and now joins in the fun.

Don't you just love husband humor? It is so very different from our own. Scott will often diffuse tense situations with a silly comment, action, or noise. I just love that about him. He has always been able to make me laugh, even when I would rather cry.
