Heavenly concerns

(Talking at dinnertime)

Easton - Will there be food in heaven?
Me - Yes, lots of food
Easton - But how will we eat it with no tables?
Me - There are tables in heaven too
Easton - But how? They are too heavy and will fall through the clouds.


(Also at dinner time)

Easton - Jesus lives in my heart, right?
Me - Yes he does
Easton - And when he gets hungry he just goes down to my tummy and eats what I had for lunch like the baby eats what's in your tummy, right?


(After coming home from pre-school)

Easton - Look at the rocket ship that I made at school today!
Me - Very cool. Did you talk about rocket ships?
Easton - Yes and astronauts. They have to wear helmets.
Me - Yes, the helmets help to protect their heads
Easton - Is that because they are so far up in the sky that they don't want any stars to fall in their hair and then they have to wash it again?
