Drumroll please.....

We have a name.

And if you've been around us in the past 6-8 weeks then you know what an arduous task this has become. He liked Rachel, I liked Lydia, He liked Celeste - and back and forth and back and forth we went. There were two names that we both kind of liked but just didn't feel right.

So before I present the perfect name, please remember that if you can't say anything nice....you know the rest.

Our children will be named:

Easton Spencer
Camille Rose

and

Claire Leighanne

I meant to ask you earlier, does this new name have any family connections...?

I love it!!! Baby Claire :-)

Congrats on finally coming up with a name! We are having a very difficult time with this task right now.

Any connections with the names as JLH mentioned above??

Claire is a name that I liked from the very beginning. Spencer just had to warm up to it a bit. :) Because Easton has his dad's middle name, Spencer thought it would be cool if we used my middle name (Leigh) for this baby - especially since I dropped it when we married and it doesn't get used any more. Claire Leigh didn't really work though. Anne is another name that I loved for some reason. (I think it's a throwback to the Anne of Green Gables series I watched a jillion times as a kid) So tacking on Anne to Leigh made it work. And that's how you get the spelling as well.

Forgive my ignorance. Is the "E" silent - as in Clair de Lume, or is it Claire' as in Marie?

yes, the E is silent. Like Clarabelle without the 'abelle' part. That's what Easton wants to call her now by the way.
