I'm beat

Easton had a great 1st day of school. He has been looking forward to this day for a full year now, so he was not upset or anxious at all. Even when his bus got home late - very, VERY, late - he was only concerned that he had to go to the bathroom!

Once he got inside - things were in a flurry. Easton wanted to talk. I wanted to hear about his day. Camille wanted to talk. Claire wanted to talk (that's code for crying by the way) Everyone was hungry. Spencer had to go to townband. Easton had to do homework. AAH!!

In the end, everyone got fed and put in bed. And now I'm working on a master plan for the 40 freshmen that are enrolled in my 2nd period class. Yep. That's a lot of freshmen. Eventually I think the numbers will go down once the counselors get things settled. But until then I need to keep those kids busy. One idle second and I've got a mutiny on my hands!

I am so thrilled that his first day went so well. Easton's been ready for K for a long time. He is such a smart boy. I'm glad he made it to the bathroom!! :-)

Man o man, you had a PACKED day!! How on earth you made it to the computer is beyond me. What are we going to do when we have three teenagers? I guess wish they were babies again :-)

Good for Easton for having a good day. Please tell him his TN friends are very proud of him!!

(HOMEWORK??)

Holy-ja-moley! 40 freshmen??? What class is this? The rotating class? Good luck!!! I bet you'll have them whipped into shape by Thursday :-) That is, if you don't already.

And I was concerned with just going back to work and making sure Scott had everything Lily needs to make it the 13 hours I will be gone. Your own grass always looks greener when you take a deeper look into another person's yard. :) God Bless you and give you the strength (mentally and physically) to make it to the weekend.
