Quilting Bee

Remember the online quilting bee? Each month someone sends me fabric and I turn it into a block of thier choosing? Well, September's block is done!

The instructions were to make a "house" block. It could be a wonky house (crooked), tall house, short house, blue, green, upside down.....whatever. In fact the host specifically asked that the block not be trimmed to any certain size, so she could create her own unique layout.

The host sent a slew of pretty fabrics, but I fell in love with this material that had tiny pics of a little girl sleeping in a bed. So I used her as the center and created a wonky (crooked) log cabin block around her and added roof, grass and sky.

You can go HERE to see some of the blocks that others have sent in. The talent from these ladies is just astounding.

See, if you can do this, you can make me those pants. What's up with the blogger not letting you post pics. I posted one from my test and now it won't let me anymore. Are you having the same problem?
