WA-HOO!
It's VBS week at Hursbourne. We are doing a Western Theme this year: Avalanche Ranch - Taking a Wild Ride Through God's Word. Every day there is a different biblical theme. Today's theme was, "God is Real" Whenever the theme for the day is spoken then all must respond with a loud, WA-HOO! I taught the bible story for Kindergarden and 1st graders. That's two Kindergarden groups and two first grade groups for a total of 60ish buckaroos.
Bible School made me tired.
Or perhaps it's the sinus infection that has my head feeling the size of a beach ball. Either way I had to take a nap this afternoon. I've never had the urge to teach Elementary Music and I have a feeling that this week will take care of any unknown desire that may have been lurking.
Over all it was a fun day. My co-teacher is a hoot so she keeps me laughing. And the kids.....oh, dear. There was this one little girl who sat beside my co-teacher the whole time running her hand up and down her leg saying, "Your skin is soooooo soft". She said this at least 27 times while the co-teacher was trying to explain an activity. Finally I had to pick her up and move her somewhere else in the circle. Please tell me Easton will not try this when he is in Kindergarden.
In other news - Spencer and I will celebrate our 8th anniversary tomorrow. That's me exactly 8 years ago tonight. My "bachelorette" party. The wildest thing I did was actually wear that veil in downtown Nashville. And wear a skirt that short. Wow - look at all those legs.

Happy 8th to you and Spencer!! Do you remember any other dates like "first date" or "engagement date" or anything like that?!
Happy 8th! I can't believe it has been that long...Hope you had a nice celebration!
Well seeing that picture sure brings back memories. I need to give that skirt to good will. I don't know why I still have it.
Lori's impound experience at the end of the party was crazy...
