Dinner Diaries

A good friend of mine recently gave me a Southern Living Cookbook, so I've had lots of inspiration from them lately. I've tried several dishes but haven't had a chance to log them, so here they are all at once. This first one I'm doing tonight and it sounds very promising.

Smoked Gouda Grits (paired with grilled pork) from Southern Living

3 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk
pepper
1 cup quick cooking grits
4 oz smoked gouda cheese
1 tablespoon butter

Bring broth, milk and pepper to a boil.
Gradually wisk in grits
Cover, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally until thickened
Add cheese and butter, stirring until melted
